Эту историю можно было бы причислить к анекдотам. Однако, документы – вещь суровая.

А этот документ дошёл до наших дней, хотя он датируется XVII веком. В нем рассказывается о случае, который произошёл с французским кардиналом д’Арманьяком в 1654 году.



А произошло вот что: однажды кардинал, прогуливаясь по улице, заметил 80-летнего старика, который плакал. Подойдя к нему, он поинтересовался, в чем дело. В ответ 80-летний старец поведал удивительную историю. Оказывается, он плакал потому, что его побил 113-летний отец за то, что он неуважительно обращался к 143-летнему деду. Можете себе представить?

Этот документ и этот случай неоднократно описываются в разных исследовательских работах по генетике.

А иллюстрация к рассказу найдена просто изумительная, сказочная, очень красивая!
